How does a distance Reiki session work?
During a distance Reiki session, energy is sent across time and space through focused intention. You simply relax in a quiet space, while your practitioner channels universal life force energy to you, just as effectively as if you were in the same room.
Do I need to do anything to prepare for a session?
It’s best to choose a comfortable place where you won’t be disturbed. You may want to set the mood with soft lighting, a blanket, or calming music. The only real requirement is an open heart and willingness to receive.
Will I feel anything during the session?
Everyone’s experience is unique. Many people report sensations of warmth, tingling, deep relaxation, or emotional release. Others feel simply calm and peaceful. Even if you don’t notice immediate sensations, Reiki is still flowing and supporting you.
Is distance Reiki as effective as in-person Reiki?
Yes. Reiki is not limited by physical proximity, and practitioners are trained to connect with your energy field no matter where you are. Many clients are surprised at how deeply they feel the energy, even across long distances.
What can I expect afterward?
